We are now offering this piece in carbon fibre which makes such a big impact to the interior feel of the car. This option is normally available from factory but to those who didn’t get a chance to spec their cars or didn’t fancy putting down many thousands for this part can now get hold of a carbon fibre console for a fraction of the price.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe console is made from an OEM genuine Mercedes console. We buy in the original piece and remanufacture the part into a carbon part. The process is called lamination or “skinning” which infuses genuine carbon onto the existing part. What you are left with is a carbon fibre part with OEM Mercedes fitment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe console once produced is then finished off in a high gloss lacquer, after which the carbon is hand polished and sealed in with a very high carnauba content wax, supplied by our partner Race Glaze that gives both depth and protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note that these are generally made to order which will take around 6-8 weeks.
