Heat shield required 
Anderson Composites does not suggest re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts -
OE hood strut mount is only for temporary use while performing under hood         maintenance 
The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended
Hoods are hand crafted and weigh approximately 20.8 lbs.
